Laurence Campbell Hellboy illustration

Love this composition!  Interesting and attractive combination of vertical and horizontal elements.  Hellboy's figure isn't the highest contrast or the biggest shape or the darkest or lightest part of the image but I'm drawn to him immediately due to the placement and framing by all the big dark shapes

I saw this one online when he posted the art he was bringing and it stood out like a lightening bolt. When I got to his table and flipped through the portfolio it was still the stand out, though a few others were a close second. What sucked is he said it wasn't for sale they were going to donate it to the auction, thankfully his dealer Andrew and I are friends, and we made a quick deal. I might take a stab at trying to color this like I did the Sean Piece.
