Description

. . . they are when it's a color guide for one of your all-time favorite freakin covers!

So much so that I once tried to recolor it myself (see additional image).

As thrilled to add this to my humble little collection as any piece I have ever owned.

Anthony Tollin, The New Teen Titans #37 / Batman and the Outsiders #5: 1983

One of the great crossovers of the New Teen Titans!  Maybe not as celebrated as the one with the X-Men, but still important for the Batman and Robin led teams.  It would prompt Dick Grayson to drop the Robin moniker soon after.  Even with a more popular team, he would never be seen as equal.  The colors of this connecting cover set is great!  My copies never lined up perfectly to see it in it's full glory.  Your colors are fresh and not faded like this guide, so you got the edge here.

As always, brilliant, encyclopedia-like insights. Cheers from Chicago.

Hey Tom, I asked several Perez collectors, and nobody seems to know where it is.

Owning these covers is a long unfulfilled dream of mine. Even though I don't collect cover guides, I would happily make an exception for this one!
