Red Sonja #1, Final Page Full-Splash (Dynamite, 2013) - Walter Geovani

This gorgeous full-splash finale page from the first issue of Gail Simone's epic Red Sonja run features the first appearance and introduction of Dark Annisia!  Sonja stands in the foreground with her sword and prepared for battle against the main antagonist of the first main story arc by Simone (Queen of Plagues).  She is confronted by her one time friend Annisia, in a surprise twist to end the first issue with a bang!  This major story character would go on to also be featured as the main antagonist in the Red Sonja theatrical movie release in 2025, featuring Matilda Lutz as Sonja and Wallis Day as Annisia.  Also featured in the Dynamite visual comic movie of the same name for approximately a ten second squence, and widely avialable online.  Walter Geovani's inks over his graphite, on standard 11"x17" illustration board and in excellent condition.
