I've seen this unpublished cover to the Escapist online. Usually when Brian has posted it. I've always loved Tintin, the Escapist and of course Mr Bolland. In fact Tintin was the first comic strip I ever read. I've felt a little sad that this cover has never been published.
Now my local comic shop organised a signing for Mr Bolland. It's been in the back of my mind for a while now to reach out to Joseph and see if Brian would do this as a one off print. Hell I even have this image as a screen saver on my phone.
I reached out to Joseph and asked if Brain would do this as a one off print. I was overjoyed when he said yes. It's not as commercial as say Brian's usual prints - but its fantastic. And it takes me back to when I started and why I love comics.
I picked this up today at the signing and was overjoyed. Brian even did some reformatting so it would make a better print.

it is honestly my favourite piece of art and so happy to see it printed. I like to think that Tintin and the Escapist share the same universe and this is the other side of the "Explorers on the Moon" cover.
