The Count of Monte Cristo by Matt Kindt

I got a chance to hang out with the delightful Matt Kindt this weekend at HeroesCon 2026, and when I went through his portfolio I couldn't let this piece sit...it had to come home with me. Not quite sure if it was the literary reference, that awesome color/lighting he did, or a combination of numerous factors (probably that one), but here we are.

This piece is mixed media (ink and watercolor at least) on watercolor paper at approx. 10.25" x 14", signed in the margin by the artist. I don't know that it has been published anywhere other than as a postcard in a set which Matt sells at cons.
