Speaking of Navajo Nation, I was in court once contesting a parking ticket I'd received and I waited i nthe courtroom along with other people who were there to contest tickets. As I waited for my turn and watched and listened to the cases ahead of me, the judge stopped what he was saying at one point, looked right at the defendant, a woman with darker complexion and pretty sexily dressed, and asked "Excuse me, Miss, but, are you a Navajo?". The woman looked at him with a puzzled look on her face and said "Why no siree, Judge, I's a Chicago hoe!"

Cool daily. Learned more about Red Ryder from your post than I ever knew about it, not my generation I suppose - but the old school western art looks pretty nice! 

The huge western movies and comics boom were way before my time too Kavi, but I have always been a fan of the films due to Clint Eastwood's anti-hero characters in the 60's all the way through "Unforgiven". Also being a Jonah Hex fan I naturally started to navigate towards other western comics and strips. 

I really enjoyed watching all the Clint Eastwood westerns as well so I've def caught up to a lot of pop culture western stuff when it comes to movies and TV shows (love Deadwood for example) but when it comes to comics and strips that's where I'm least exposed/knowledgeable with westerns so I learn a lot through CAF and whatnot - although I have read a little English translated Blueberry from Moebius which I greatly enjoyed!
