My client has developed several "End of Days"-themed commissions with the Cabal (also known as the Black Order among other things) from Marvel's Thanos' top guard ravaging worlds of various universes such as Charlton, Atlas, Continuity, Omniverse and, in this case, the Rob Liefeld Universe. Maybe Damon can help me because I don't know how many times I've inked the Cabal for him (and sometimes only certain members are used and not others) but he tells me this is my first Youngblood commission. It's his 137th commission and the 25th I've inked over penciller Val Semeiks. Cabal members depicted here include Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, Black Dwarf, Black Swan and Terrax the Tamer. The depicted Youngblood members are Combat, KnightSabre, Shaft, Troll, Vogue and Chapel .For this sequential page I used a Raphael Kolinsky 8404 brush size 3, Kuretake markers, Pitt Fude Medium brush pen, micronmarkers and for special FX white & black finger smudges, white & black toothbrush spatter, X-acto blade scraping, ink on sponge (Terrax' axe energy FX) and textured zip (also for Terrax). It was printed up as a blueline on 11x17 Kubert Art Store 2-ply smooth board and finished June 15, 2026.
