Unproduced Hanna Barbera Pitch - Alex Toth

An XL color piece by the legendary Alex Toth for an unproduced cartoon about Judo. Published in the third IDW Toth book Genius Animated. Incredible overall composition to this piece with the character portraits up top and a couple action vignettes to give a flavor of the show but what really blows me away is all the beautiful individual gestures he's given all of the figures on the page. Too bad HB never ventured into producing their own comics because they could've given second life to some of these failed pitches. I would definitely check out a Judo Kids one shot or the weird futuristic Annie comic if it were drawn by Toth.
