My first piece of comic book artwork, and one piece that I will pretty much never part with. An Uncanny X-Men cover from the Onslaught storyline, my favorite storyline (despite all the criticism it receives), with the whole X-team up front and Apocalypse and Ozymandias in the background. And to top it all off, it's done by my favorite pencil/ink team in Joe Madureira and Tim Townsend. All around, an excellent piece and certainly my favorite.

Kin, It's always nice to pick up covers of comics we really liked especially when they are done by our favorite artists and you were able to accomplish getting both so congratulations to you on acquiring one of your grails. Joe Madureira and Tim Townsend's inks are fantastic in this piece.

"From the Onslaught, an Apocalypse comes!" A very epic book when it came out. The Onslaught saga was reaching it's peak, and also marked the return of Apocalypse. Very nice cover!

Yep, that's a really nice way to start off your collection of original art. And I'm glad you pointed out Tim Townsend's wonderful inking on this one. He doesn't get enough credit for his work.

Love this X-Men run from Joe Mad/Townsend, very historic and very hard to come by. I finally was able to get one of my own, and I echo your sentiments, it's not going anywhere! Absolutely fantastic cover, bravo!
