I was quite happy when I bought this from the Rudes on eBay. I believe Steve told me that it was art that he had worked on when he was presenting COTA to Marvel. The pose reminds me of the old Kirby pin-ups and the inks make me think of Wally Wood.

Awesome! The Dude was born to draw the original X-Men. I usually say John Byrne draws my favorite Cyclops, but this piece gives me pause when I make that claim.

I don't normally think of Cyclops as being cool but this Rude drawing definetly qualifies. Great flow, great inks, love it!

This is just perfect. I'm not the biggest Rude fan in the world, but this is the definition of "classic". A truly terrific, iconic piece.

I almost mistook this one for a John Byrne for a second. John circles his autograph and it is in his style. it's an awesome Cyclops!

Cool Steve Rude sketch of Cyclops! Steve's style is perfect for capturing the essence of the original '60s X-Men. Steve even makes Cyclops seem cool.
