Description

I have always liked the colorful backgrounds produced for the Smurf cartoons of the 1980s. I especially like the backgrounds of the Smurf's mushroom houses. The first six backrounds of cottages in this group are my favorite examples of this highly sophisticated art form. I believe that they are all (perhaps with the exception of numer three) from some of the later episodes, based on their glowing colors; from what I know, the earlier backgrounds were a little less vivid in coloring.
