Description

Way back in the days of Action Comics Weekly, the Black Canary feature was drawn by Randy DuBurke. There were 2 runs in ACW. The first was inked by Pablo Marcos. The second was inked primarily by DuBurke, although Marcos has full inking credits. If you go back to those comics, you'll notice 2 distinct looks.

But what I really remember was being floored when I saw this drawing in Amazing Heroes.

A few years ago, I came across Randy's contact info and got in touch with him. Many years later, I happened to get in touch with Randy again and learned he still had the art. I'm glad to have acquired this piece from Randy... at last.

Black Canary was created by Robert Kanigher and Carmine Infantino.

Sweet! I always liked Randy DuBurke's rendition of the Black Canary. Very sleek & noir-ish.
