Doc Savage by Ernie Chan and Alfredo Alcala

The Granddaddy of all Superheroes and still looking good.....a joint venture between Ernie and Alfredo.....his inks added such a texture and depth to anyone's pencils and it seemed like he was everywhere for a time....Batman, Hawkman, and Swamp Thing. I never met him but I gravitated to all his comics when i was a kid and at the time, I didn't even know he was pinoy (majority of pinoys have spanish surnames so it can be confusing). He was an important and great talent....and is sorely missed.
