Description
For people of a certain age THE Sci-Fi movie before Star Wars changed everything was Logan's Run in 1976. (Though the Planet of the Apes movies could fight for that title as well.) The adaptation of the movie was done by a couple of people still fairly new on the scene George Perez and Klaus Janson. This is a page from the final issue of the adaptation, and is part of the big climax where Logan blows up the computer. Interestingly this final issue of the adaptation (though 2 more issues beyond the film were made) had a street date of May 1977, the same month that Star Wars was released.

I loved this movie (still do) and the comic adaptation, which incorporated some scenes that were in the original script, but left out of the film.
