I reread this series not too long ago, before the movie came out I guess. When I came to this page, I remembered that none of my friends at the time this originally came out knew what famous murder case he was referring to. So, my curiosity peaked, I looked it up on the net and it turned out to be one of the Manson Family members. While I'm sure he researches like mad, I have the feeling that all those facts and quotes are simply stored in Alan Moore's brain like data in a computer, waiting for retrieval on an as need basis.

I'm back reading this page again -- great page! So much to love about this series -- the writing, the art. It's the perfect graphic novel package.

Stunning. I can't believe how few comments this one has. The lighting and detail on the faces is superb. A masterpiece.
