Description
Kapteeni ja Ville ("Wílliam and the Captain") ran in 1934 for 27 episodes and featured the architypal comic strip captain. In this series in particular, Vesanto's page designs have lots of energy with the placement of the solid blacks that create a very pleasing visual rhythm.
This strip appeared in the issue 22 / 1934 (May 26) of the magazine Suomen Kuvalehti.
