Bolland left a mark on all the Wonder Woman covers he did! He drew a very sexy WW.......(not the one in the mirror!..Ha!)
Wow, what a great cover! That detail on her hair ... amazing! A Brian Bolland WW cover is a major feather in one's cap, so congrats!!
You own a creepy Bolland cover. Congratulations. His work is frequently disturbing.
Of course Bolland's covers are creepy, but always a real joy to behold. And his craftsmanship is just unbelievable. Congrats on this beauty!
Amazing hair!
Wow, a Bolland WW is deff at the top of every collectors list and this is a beautiful example! Congrats!
Maybe is the best drawing of hair i have seem !
superb cover
Magnificent! I would've bought this and many other Bolland covers just for the hair alone! I'm really curious as to why, after 7 1/2 years without a comment, this now makes the 8th comment left for this cover this month alone!?!
More interest in my gallery when I started commenting non stop on everything this past month.
At a certain point, art listed past a few pages of the search will not be seen and forgotten. Bolland that has been posted this far back is not going to found. Maybe delete and repost every few years would keep it in front of people.
Most of the comments since last month have gone to art on the front page of the gallery. Some will venture into folders like "covers" or see if their favorite artist on the front page list. To answer your question, people are interested in a Bolland cover and it's easy to find when my comments link my gallery in front of them. Not many people look into my folders of "misc", "pages", etc.
As to why I'm commenting so much more. Am I trying to get attention to buy and sell more? Other than CAF Live, I have not bought nor sold in any private deals through CAF during the last month and I had not posted anything for a few weeks until today. I'm engaging the hobby to look at art and conversing with people here and other places like we are at a convention. Without hanging around the normal convention crew at a busy show, I feel that time spent here talking art would be worthwhile to hopefully raise the level of discourse above the "Nice piece, congrats" for everyone. Sometimes it's just being silly like our banter, sometimes it's for the worthwhile pieces, and sometimes it's for the pieces no one else seems interested in except that for that one person. It might make their day to know someone else sees what they see and that the top commented pieces are not an exclusive club. Until next time, Make Mine Lord Havok!
1) Beautiful cover! The hair is better than the Byrne She-Hulk hair, and the ass is better than mine.
2) Your frequent commenting and comments, both in jest and in seriousness have definitely enhanced my joy and knowlegde of the hobby over the last few months. I thank you for that!
1) Who needs hair when you got a fedora? As for the derrière, as Ruth Bader Ginsburg once said, "I dissent." You may only consider shape, but I consider the refined texture, tautness, and elasticity that only years of drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon can provide. You win this one by a wide gap.
2) I'd love a "baller" move as much as the next guy. Just as long as they actually look at the art and ams who they am.
Um..Wow! All I was asking with my question (which was rhetorical by the way 😜), was How did 8 people including myself suddenly choose this month to comment on this piece after 8 years of the piece going without a single comment, which you did answer, but I hope you didn't post your 2nd comment about why YOU have been more active with comments because you felt like it, not because you felt I was asking. In any case, I started making an effort to interact with the hobby more myself around 5 years ago by leaving comments and as you say, trying to say something a little more substantive than just "Cool!", Awesome!" or "Nice!". If you can believe it, I actually had some people get in touch and ask "Why are you leaving comments that are as long as essays?". One guy (Duke Fleed, I see you!) used to make fun of me for trying to actually tell people (in comments) why I like the page, but I'm happy to say and see that he has now come around and understood what I've been trying to do all these years and has begun doing the same thing. I can honestly say I have never enjoyed the hobby as much as I have these past 5 years because of the efforts I've made to be more interactive online and I've made quite a few nice friendships because of it, which is always nice. Unlike many collectors, I don't intend to suddenly start travelling to cons even when I feel I'll be safe enough from Covid, simply because I've always hated the entire experience involved in air travel. So it'll be nice to know that there will still be plenty of people online to "hang out" with even when conventions open up again.
But yeah, your reasons for posting more often lately are very similar to mine and I totally get it. Rest assured that I think it's been very nice to see you doing so, even though you're such a posting animal that you're constantly raining on my parade by commenting before me on every piece I intend to comment on! ☔️
Excellent Bolland Example!!
And the wallpaper is just the cherry on the cake, so to speak... congrats !
I can't say enough about Bolland artwork. clean and crisp with detail galore. Love Dr. Psyho . great addition to your impressive collection.
Not sur how I missed this. Wonderful cover. The first thing that caught my eye was that he completed the outline of WW's rear outside the page border!
Lotta detail in this page. And a cool cover to boot!
All the Cs! Terrific!
Oh wow, this is stunning! Bolland WW covers are so good! Really a top notch one too!
Boy this is one creepy cover. Yes WW is as beautiful as anyone could want, but the what is reflected in the mirror just knocks me out. Congrats.
¡¡¡Brutal!!!
i'm not famillar with Brian Bolland's work but for some reason this actually reminds me of R. Crumb style of drawing. congrats on the get.
What a stunning piece of art-- the hair, the vulnerability, the wallpaper. . . you have enough masterpieces to fill your own museum!
What a Beauty.
Your constant commenting got you a free Premium upgrade. The very least you could do is take advantage and get some bigger scans of these amazing pieces. Hell, just bring them over and I'LL rescan for you, if that's what it takes!
I love Bollands work, especially covers because he clearly goes all out on the details. Like the cherry wallpaper, this cover pops off the screen!
When I look at a Bolland cover, I often wonder just how on earth did he create such a thing. I certainly have that feeling looking at this, from the detail of the hair and wallpaper to the genuinely creepy feeling it generates. A superb cover. (Btw, I really like the comments you leave. It's nice when people take the time to leave even a generic comment but yours, with their thoughtful consideration of the art, are a real pleasure to read).
What the hell is going on here? Forget about how insanely talented Bolland is for a moment. First impression of the content alone has me wanting to read this issue so that I understand the context of this cover. Which is exactly what a comic book cover ought to do. Sell the comic that is. Very impressive collection you've amassed Marcus.
Wow incredible detail by Brian Bolland! Beautiful cover to own!!
Beautiful Bolland cover! I loved his run of covers on Wonder Woman.
Brian Bolland, Great guy and great artist! Would love to own a Bolland Wonder Woman cover.
Bolland is incredible!
What a beautiful piece of art!
This is "fine art"!
Great piece of design work, so clear and meticulously precise in its execution. Like the fact that Bolland worked outside the area to be printed just to ensure WW's body was anatomically correct.
Wow! This one is incredible. Bolland WW covers do not disappoint!
This cover is insanely great! Brian Bolland is a master. The amount of attention dedicated to his craft is astounding. I get lost staring at WW's hair and there's so much more goodness to explore in the rest of the piece. So much fun! Thanks for sharing.
I also just realized that from the prespective of the mirror, we, the viewer (the ogler!), are the creepy dude she's seeing. There's no guy in front of us behind her, so that leaves us! Bolland is catching us looking at that azz and saying "that's you, creep!"
And no message could've been any clearer
If you wanna make the world a better place
Take a look at yourself and then make that
Change
Hee hee.
Is the "Hee hee" MJ's or yours?
You really know how to pick up the cherries Marcus ! Bolland at his best !
great piece with a strange astmosphere and very expressive faces
Nice!
Wonderful Cover, but I am a bit confused by all the comments about her hair. What I am wondering is whether that tiny hiney of hers was actually printed, or was it unfortunately drawn outside the cover border. I mean that would clearly be more of a reason to commment on here instead of her hair. Just sayin. Great cover :-).
Incredible page, in both art and conception. Congrats
Awesome Marcus !!!! Wooooow
OMG! :)
Wow! Wow! Wowzers! I just love Bolland, the tight lines, the facial expressions, the "Outer Limits" feel and the quirky funny feeling they give out.
GRAIL piece
Brian Bolland...one of the best! This one is beautifully illustrated!
Wow, incredible art! ♥
Bolland is one of those very few artists that can do no wrong. No matter what character or subject, his work is always stunningly detailed and beautiful to look at
There's great admiration for BB and recently we've seen a WW cover just miss six figures at auction. Stunning as that cover was Ive always dug this cover. It's complex, WW from the back and the "trip" of seeing what looks back at WW from that mirror. Very complex task rendered in breathtaking fashion by an unrivaled master artist. BB art is as good as a world wide recognized brand of excellence.
very nice!
This Bolland is amazing!
Outstanding piece.

An insanely beautiful Bolland piece Marcus. Thank you for sharing this with us.
What a scary cover! Bolland is a true master, you should be very proud to own a piece like this one.
Wonderful Bolland, Marcus!
Freaky cover! Wonder Woman isn't gonna be nice to the stalker in the mirror!
Without the title stat, this Brian Bolland HOUSE OF SECRETS cover is too creepy and I've heard you shouldn't hold the art up to a mirror, congrats! (I think!)
Gawd, I love this guy's work!
What a treasure, congrats Marcus!
That's a great one Marcus!
Oh, it's beautiful!
Who's the fairest of them all? With or without 1/2 invisible panties
