I could find the newspaper strip only occasionally growing up and I bought the comics only sporadically, but for whatever reason, I always love to find Phantom art collections on CAF. I guess it is the simple but classic design combined with the sense of high adventure these pages tend to contain. I think all the splashes in this gallery meet that criteria, but this one stood out for me as I'm a sucker for the bats-against-the-full-moon motif. It's a fun page full of mystery and atmosphere that I know I would have loved as a kid.

E' già stata pubblicata in italiano, dall' INTREPIDO degli anni 90 in tre puntate.

Am I understanding correctly that this story has been published in Italy? In which issues of "Intrepido"?

TKS for the question. In 1990/91, the italian weekly magazine INTREPIDO Sport, published various SEMIC- Phantom episodes with the art of Jaime Vallve, Kary Leppanen, Hans Lindall etc. This episode : "La Morte Sussurrante" was the last, and was published (splitted in 3 parts) inside the issues 1, 2 and 3 of 1991.
