I consider "Oltre la Morte", Dylan Dog #088, one of the very best Dylan Dog issues ever, both the story and the art are top-notch.
In particular, the artist Marco Soldi (who worked on the art for this issue for more than 3 years) shines here with a style that he then changed over time (see this later Dylan Dog page).
The fact that this is the only Dylan Dog issue he has illustrated with this style makes the issue incredibly precious to me.

The story here sees a dying Bree Daniels, maybe Dylan's biggest love ever, and with her also a piece of the Old Boy is dying. Only Death can find a way out of this dire situation but requires a terrible exchange: a life for a life. There's an opportunity for Dylan since the terrible serial killer Johnny Dark is back, but in the end, can Dylan take Death's offer and take a life? Even if it's a serial killer's life?
This amazing page shows Dylan facing the terrible dilemma of "a life for a life", he (obviously) can't do it but see then the irony in the last panel when Death is taking the guy's life due to a heart attack.
