Description

Some of my favorite Common Elements commissions are the ones where, even though the commonality between the featured heroes may be painfully obvious, the scenario that might bring them together is almost impossible to envision.

That was the challenge I set before Fables artist Lan Medina, who proved himself more than equal to the task of pitting Roy "Don't Call Me Speedy... or Arsenal, For That Matter" Harper, the Red Man with an Arrow, and Sonja "Don't Call Me Brigitte Neilsen... or Rose McGowan, For That Matter" of Hyrkania, the She-Devil with a Sword, against an unseen nemesis. Lan's tension-packed action scene far excels anything I might have imagined.
