Many congrats on obtaining the best Johnny Craig "Haunt of Fear" cover in my opinion, Benno. It couldn't have found a nicer collection to go into. I hope that one day you'll even let me admire it in-person, Benno:-])

Great cover! Anything having to do with EC Horror screams cool to me (lord knows how many times I've watched the Tales from the Crypt DVD's), and a great deal of that coolness comes from the great artistic talent EC used. Johnny Craig executed this one beautifully. Awesome piece.

Great cover. Stirs the imagination . . . makes you want to shell out your money for the comic-book to read the accompanying story. Interestingly, Graham Ingels would later do a very similar cover for HAUNT # 15 (also in CAF). The Ingels cover leaves NOTHING for the imagination!

Totally amazing, Benno. I love seeing all the EC horror and sci-fi original artwork that's on display at CAF. The EC era really was something of a Golden Age of comics all on its own. Anyway, congratulations on having this stunning cover artwork in your collection.

I would have worked at EC Comics erasing extraneous pencil lines just to be close to talent like this.
