1973 On Stage Daily

Leonard Starr's On Stage/Mary Perkins On Stage has been called the best story strip of its time (1957-1979). Unlike most woman-centered continuity strips, its main character was married off early on and little of its time was spent on romance. Mary is a dead ringer for Starr's wife. Starr is still alive and apparently in good health thirty years after the strip ended. I got this at SDCC where Starr was appearing, (not when I was there though) and was purchased directly from his collection. This is a late strip, the daily for March 17, 1973.
