The Hulk 02

The last Hulk sketch I posted was a small thumbnail. This one I've gone the extra mile. Dale Keown is one of my creative influences for the Hulk. His designs defined the character in the early nineties, which was around the time I was reading the comic, so I tried injecting some Keown-esque nuances while throwing in a lot of my own ideas. I took a few cues from the recent motion picture, such as the hair and the not-so-pronounced brow, and I think it really works. One of my best iterations of the creature. Etched on 9 x 12 Bristol board with graphic pencils. This piece is available through private sale.
