Description

Frank Cho is in the very top tier of Good Girl artists of our time. Unlike Adam Hughes, Bruce Timm, etc. Cho has mostly kept mostly his work out of circulation. It is tough to find good pieces that are even available, much less a fully-inked full-on GGA like this. Dejah Thoris is a character well associated with Cho. According to the noted collector who sold this to me, this was one of two pieces Cho made for charity for a 2000 convention. This was the less risque of the two. Cho originally gave her white panties with a seam running right where her (ahem) grand opening would be. I finally had that penciled over. If you prefer, you can easily erase this and go back to the original, or have it properly inked there. The version as Cho drew it is below.

The first image you see shows as actual size on my computer, just short of 9 inches from fingertip to toe tip on an 11" by 8.5" board. I've posted a detail from my original 200 dpi scan below to illustrate the kind of care put into this.

Many consider circa 2000 to have been Frank Cho's best period. This is a fine example of one of the best doing what he does best.
