The coronoation procession of John Carter as the Warlord of Mars. An October 2009 purchase from the artist, Thomas Yeates, whose new illustrated edition of JOHN CARTER OF MARS by Edgar Rice Burroughs has just recently been released by Barnes & Noble. A detail from this illustration is also used as a chapter header through the book. The words from Burroughs that Thomas is illustrating are, "It was a most imposing sight."

Very Nice Ray! I don't remember seeing these in Tom's stack of pages so you must have already had them. As an ERB fan, I'll also have to swing by and pick the new book up . Nice to see these found a good home!
