I still remember reading all the X-something series back in the 80s, and certainly some of the stories were not on par with the incredible uncanny x-men run from the magic trio of Austin, Byrne and Claremont - for me, the ABC of X-men ;-)

But... but... Arthur Adams got me hooked. His art was incredibly detailed and when I saw that splash page, I knew that I had to buy it without hesitation.

your right the detail in this piece really stands it up with any other x-art. i really got started in comics reading x-factor and think this is a stellar piece!

Having been a little partial to the Uncanny X-men, I wasn't the biggest fan of the separated X-Factor book, however, I could not help but be a big fan of Arthur Adams' art, of which you have a terrific example here. Tremendous congratulations!

Oh wow, I so recall this story! This was part of the two issues that dealt with the winner of the "Mutant Registration Contest," in which the winner had their mutant written into the X-Factor series and the art was done by Art Adams of course! Great splash!
