Apparition by Rich Larson

I had met Rich many years back at a Chicago ComiCon (back before Wizard took it over). I had picked up a comic of his and got it signed. I was impressed with the art and kept a hold of it ever since.

Rich was an attendee at the 2007 MCBA FallCon. I was quite surprised with the finished product on this one. I gave him several different Legion comics to choose the subject of the piece. I’m not disappointed by any means, but I guess I was expecting a more “mature-looking” picture. Or maybe that should read “less mature-looking”. Regardless, this modest Apparition is an absolute ‘beaut’ of a sketch.
