Description
Possibly the best page of the last great villain created by the King. He grew up in a cult! Drumm, I mean. Not Kirby.

Darius Drumm was not only a great villain on par with Darkseid, but what this splash also demonstrates is that the King was a great writer as well as a divine artist.

Pretty cool. Drumm was a total lunatic, and Kirby really did a great job showing the character's insanity. I hope you post the other Silver Star artwork from your collection soon.

I'd argue this is probably better than the bulk of the fourth world pages - this is a hell of a Kirby page.

Scary character, scary page. To me, the stuff that Kirby wrote, especially late in his career, is a cut above the rest (I know I could be charged for blasphemy, but that's what I think). The "demon in the hand" trick could easily become the trademark of some horror movie franchise. Great stuff.

Furthermore: I just thought that this gives a whole new meaning to the phrse "Talk to he hand"!! Ahah!!
