Description

Gen13 was my favorite comic from back in the day. In 2009, several Gen13 covers started showing up on the market and quickly exchanging hands. With each cover that I missed out on, I grew more and more envious of those new owners. I couldn't take it anymore, so I went to Mitch and asked about the #25 cover that he's had available for years. We eventually worked something out where they would get the money and I could still afford to put food on the table

Since this was the last Gen13 cover that Scott and Alex would do for the series, they went out with a bang and created this amazing wraparound cover that would be printed on shiny chromium material. I can look at this cover and recall every storyline created by the dream team of Jim Lee, Brandon Choi, J. Scott Campbell, and Alex Garner.

Between Fairchild's legs, they wrote "Later, Kids... It's been fun!" It certainly was. I want to thank Scott and Mitch for the opportunity to own this amazing piece.

Awesome pickup! I was wondering where this cover went, and I'm glad to see it found a good home. Congrats!

I was so envious when you told me you were getting this one. I also kept trying and missing out on all the other covers made available this year, but you got them all beat with this one brother! This piece is huge, important, and sooo incredible! The price should really be more of a "One Billion dollars!" (insert evil pinkie to your mouth:) That would be more realistic to pry it from you:)

So cool. Congrats Larry. - I think I might helped you a tiny bit to get this...;-)  In 2009 I bought a Wrightson Punisher page from you on ebay. Thanks again for packing it so well.
