Description

Very happy to have this. I respect, admire, and am a little envious of the way that people like Ted McKeever can see the world. An artist's job is to give you his impression of how he perceives things, instead of merely a perfectly non-distorted reflection. It was wonderful to see what the mind that brought us Plastic Forks, Eddy Current and Metropol could do with the cornerstone of all Marvel-dom. And his quirky style is perfectly suited to the bizarre world of Doctor Strange! I'm not sure if Brian Michael Bendis was responsible for bringing Ted on board for these Spider-Man and Dr. Strange issues, but it sure worked out well. I'd been hemming and hawing about picking this up over a long period of time of seeing it here on CAF. When it finally went up on eBay, I went for it, and am thrilled to have it. Many thanks to Kasra Ghanbari, Ted's representative, and of course to Ted, and looking forward to seeing both in NYC in October 2010!

First thing that came into my mind were literally the words of the Prodigy: 'Oh my God that's some funky sh*t!' Very distinctive, great piece of graphics!

Needless to say Ted has a very distinct, unique style. I've been checking out his work and I gotta say I'm enjoying it. Great cover.
