Lol! Yeah. Its sad but, at this point, Ive lost out on so many auctions due to them being ended early that I had to contact the guy and at least insure I had a chance. As predicted, he'd already been asked by no less than 7 people to end the auction early so I just threw my bid in to the ring. Just for the record, I never ask people to end auctions early, only to allow me a chance to bid should they decide to go that route. I wish it didnt have to work that way.

I thought that you gave up collecting these vintage Byrne sketches... 8)

Not that I'm surprised that you fell on this one, since it's a really nice one, and it has the flavour of byrne's art of that age.

Tim, you're just killing me. LOL really. We really need to meet. I was the high bidder...then "poof" it disappeared. I KNEW it was going to end up here. I have no hard feelings..If I really had wanted it I could have pushed harder. You just have to love the dynamics of the piece...thanks for posting it. Edward

This is the perfect example of what made Byrne's Wolverine my favorite, Byrne is to Wolverine what Adams is to Batman IMHO!! OUTSTANDING SCORE!!
