Description

John Byrne SUPERMAN original art from 1985 signed by the artist.Predates Man of Steel 1986 so this is a very special piece. Was the door prize at a Ithaca, NY convention in 1985 won by a fellow CAF member as a kid.Twenty-five years later I am very proud to be the current caretaker of this priceless gem. Thanks to Court for letting this go and to John Byrne for his rich talent.

This is so vintage. John Byrne doing Superman even before he officially began on "Man Of Steel'. Pure Byrne, at his very best, with Supes in an iconic pose. "Congratulations" on greatness, Michael. This shall hang in a museum some day.

when i picture superman this is how i see him. congrats. this isn't just DC art or John Byrne art. this is true Americana art. top level good buddy
