Holy crap. That's a ridiculous piece of art, man! Pope does almost nothing for Marvel, so this is a real rare gem! It is weird that Marvel consider him part of the "indie underground" but at DC of all places he seems to be mainstream...

Absolutely stellar. I remember when this comic was released, my jaw dropped open when I saw this cover. Paul Pope! I remember not only being delighted (as an Indy comic fanboy) that Marvel had selected Mr. Pope to do the cover (a bold statement that underlined the expressed sentiment and intention of this iteration of ‘Strange Tales: a more Indy-centric, creator-oriented showcase), but (as a silver age Marvel fanboy) reeling over Paul’s choices of characters he included, which I thought were off the beaten path for the time (Ultron, the Destroyer, the Enchantress)... Hard to think that now, in the MCU era...

Without question this piece belongs in the conversation for ‘Most Marvelous Piece On CAF’. Most sincere congrats!

One of my favorite Paul Pope covers. Truely epic! I love his take on the Marvel characters, and wish he did more with them.
