Description
As has been noted, Silver Star is quite a dark and biblical work. Nearly incoherent, but in flashes it feels like Kirby reaching through his diminishing abilities to push the medium even further. What a spirit.

So glad you finally put this up. I love how he just shows the shadow in the second panel. It's weird how he just sort of gives up having Drumm as a character after a few issues and instead, he's actually Death.

I always viewed this story as the result of Jack achieving the full creative freedom he'd yearned for throughout his life. There's some interesting and powerful stuff marbled into the Silver Star story.

the bottom shadow panel is incredible.....it really makes that whole page work!!!

Iconic!  Such a cool page and the choice of showing just Drumm's shadow makes him even more ominous.
