Black Knight by R. Sikoryak

Robert Sikoryak wrote & illustrated Masterpiece Comics, which retells classic literature in the style of classic comic books. One of these was Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter, done in the style of the Little Lulu comics by John Stanley. I asked Sikoryak to do a sketch of the Black Knight, since the character is inspired by literary sources, namely Arthurian legends. Sikoryak decided to draw the Knight in the style of Little Lulu, which was an interesting choice. This was done at the New Haven Comics Fest on June 26.
