Description

Back in June, at the New Haven CT show, Danny Hellman found out I had a super-villain sketchbook going. A big fan of Jack Kirby's Fantastic Four, Hellman immediately decided he wanted to draw Galactus in my book. I ran into him again at the New York Comic Con, but I did not have my villains sketchbook with me. Danny finally had an opportunity to draw the planet-devouring entity at King Con Brooklyn, and he totally went to town on in, using the original Kirby stories for reference. It turned out incredibly well.

By the way, some might argue that Galactus isn't really a villain, considering the Watcher referred to him as "above good or evil." But his origin was assembled in the one-shot Super-Villain Classics. That, and if you happen to be living on a planet that Galactus is about to consume, I expect you would view him in a fairly negative light!
