DescriptionI've wanted a vintage Neal Adams page where he inked himself for a great long while now. When this one became available I jumped at the chance. I'm now the proud owner of two Neal Adams pages, both of them from Tom Horvitz. This page speaks for itself. Social/Sharing |

It's just amazing how much better Adams got between #79, the 1st Deadman team-up, and this issue. I can remember when these pages were $150 (still have the Supersnipe catalog somewhere) but that was back when that was a lot of money for me (the teenage years).

I think this is one of those pages that, were it mine, I could hang on my wall, look at it every day and never tire of it. The layout, the action, the dramatic Adams' closeup and that cliffhanger of a last panel all add up to a classic. Congratulations.

Giordano is given credit for these nice inks in Batman Illustrated #2. Superb Deadman head-shot and action, congrats, Hiroshi!

If you come across any Neal pages you don't want, please send them my way and I'll finder's fee you!

The GCD credits Adams with pencils "and" inks but that said, I've found them to be rife with inaccuracies. When I go through the comic, I only see Adams' inking but that's just "my" opinion. I just don't want to give anyone the impression that I will like the page any less if it's actually inked by Giordano--He was awesome too, right?

I know Garry and am surprised by his mistake because he is such a Neal Adams fan. This is 100% Neal Adams pencils and inks. All of the Brave and Bold issues were inked by Neal, with the exception of issues 80 and 81. Besides, just look at those inks! No confusing the lines of a master here.

A true 100% Neal Adams page, with Batman and Deadman, who needs more, Green Lantern, Green Arrow ? This is another story for another page ! This one is just awesome, the deadman close up is fantastic. Congratulations for your wonderful collection.

My opinion may not mean much after getting one from Scott W, but I agree - all Neal.
