Michael Netzer Legion Commission

Another testimony to the fun and power of Facebook. Through it, I connected with Michael Netzer, one of my longtime favorite artists who really made an impression on me with his Legion work from the 1970s. Not much art from that period of the book is available, and Michael happened to work on one of my favorite issues of the era, so I seized the chance to ask for a commission. Michael really threw himself into it, and it turns out he remembers the issue as fondly as I do. It's been a pleasure doing business with him and getting to know him a little, and I treasure this piece. It's a re-creation of SUPERBOY AND THE LEGION OF SUPERHEROES #231, page 17.
