Description

Okay, so the title gives it away to those of you who are classic cinema buffs. Nevertheless, this is one of those Common Elements wherein the linkage makes me giggle like a schoolgirl.

If you've seen the 1954 film Sabrina, starring Humphrey Bogart, William Holden, and the luminous Audrey Hepburn -- or the 1995 remake with Harrison Ford, Greg Kinnear, and Julia Ormond, which I don't recommend -- you'll recall that it's the tale of two brothers, both of whom are in love with the same girl -- the daughter of their family chauffeur.

The young woman's name? Sabrina Fairchild. The characters depicted here by Mike DeCarlo? Sabrina the Teenage Witch of Archie Comics and TV fame, and Gen13's Caitlin Fairchild, who's often known simply by her last name.

Okay, so it's a stretch.

But I do love that old movie.

Mr. Rankins -- your ability to find a common element is amazing and I love trying to figure it out..before I ultimately resort to reading your explanation. Great one.

Personally I liked both versions of the movie...but if I had to pick...yeah the Bogart one was the better. I dig the image of Sabrina & Fairchild!
