Amazing Heroes #189 (March 1991 issue with an Adam Hughes Indy cover) included an article about a number of upcoming Indiana Jones books from Dark Horse. The article contained a mention of an Indy series which was to have been written and illustrated by Adam. However, for reasons unknown, the series never progressed beyond a few promo pieces created for the proposed series. Adam's partner, Allison, knew I was a fan of Adam's version of Indy (trading card images etc) and kindly got in touch when she unearthed the promo/concept pieces for what was tentatively titled "Indiana Jones and the Jungle Princess". Beautiful artwork! Sadly the description could express more about the piece, as you state its a vintage piece, but unclear when from and do tell more about the amazing heroes proposal please.
