DescriptionI am blown away to finally land an original art drawing by Jack Kirby of The Silver Surfer. This original drawing was penciled and inked by Jack Kirby on the inside cover page of The Silver Surfer GN 1978.This was a gift to good friend and fellow artist Jack Katz and his wife Caroline.It is signed twice by Jack Kirby. Just look at him soar! I am so humbled to have the good fortune to obtain this GRAIL. Thank you to Mr. Katz and Charlie for making this happen. Of course a special thanks to Jack Kirby for his inspiring work. Your genius still shines bright. Social/Sharing |

A grail indeed. To have a Jack Kirby anything is an accomplishment, but to have a Kirby original rendering of the "Silver Surfer" is a true triumph! Looking upon this piece of history ~ and the long road you've taken to obtain it ~ is an excellent reminder of what a blessing this hobby of ours really is. The Lord up above has rewarded you, my friend. May this astounding piece of art be displayed in your home, with pride, for many moons to come. "Congratulations", Michael and God Bless Always.

One can't get any better than a Kirby dedicatory illustration from Kirby to a fellow artist, Katz. And it is on a great graphic novel. The total package. Congrats.
