Holy obscurity Batman! There've certainly been a lot of comic companies that've come and gone over the years. While there are certainly some Golden Age characters out there that I think are better than Harvey's (Stardust, for one) I don't think there's another company that's got as many cool characters as Harvey did. And I'd actually forgotten how much I liked these guys until Damon Owens posted the Harvey commissions he got from Daryl Banks (definitely check them out - Banks nailed 'em). The Fraims are such great 60's style artists and they an easy choice to ask to do this. Totally nailed it - Brendon really went all out here (and Brian too). Plus they definitely get points if for not other reason than they actually made Red Blazer look good : ) I think Gladiator's probably my favorite, and I really like Firebrand's head shot on the side. A big 22x17.

I may have given 'em a taste, but man this is a veritable FEAST! Some of these characters are so obscure, even their own creators don't know who they are. Kudos!
