Man, does this art bring back memories. I think I bought and read every Kirby written and drawn issue of KAMANDI.

Only Jack could make the death of a giant grasshopper heartbreaking! Kirby was so great at evoking emotion from those who read his stories, with or without Stan. There were many such sad moments in Kamandi... But seeing this art is "happy time"!
