Description

This took me two weeks to complete after a restart. Anyway, this is my rendering of Hal Jordan. Photo referenced, I decided on a pose that showed him charging his ring in his lantern battery while in space. The "less is more" approach worked I feel in regards to such things as the force shield aura around Hal being just a space I left open, as well as the white area on the front of his body facing the crackling lantern battery. For more effect, I used white out for such things as the energy emitted from the battery port, as well as the insignia extended from the chest symbol (I apologize if it is not as visible as it should be). Etched on 3-Ply Bristol Board with Copic Markers, white-out, and graphic pens, this is my best rendering of Hal to date.
