Jae Ler turns comic art into fine art. Just beautiful!
Lee conveys Cloak & Dagger with a delicate beauty. Very impressive.
Jaw-droppingly cool Cloak and Dagger cover by the incredible Jae Lee. I love the contrast between the dark, thick lines used to render Cloak, and the thin, light lines used for Dagger. That they are both posed on top of a grotesque statue of a dragon rearing up seems significant as well. But that's the kind of challenging elements you often find in Jae Lee's work. He is a true artist in every sense of the word.
Classic Jae Lee cover!
Classy! Love how smooth this is!
Breathtakingly stunning. One of the many, MANY compelling things about Jae Lee's brilliant style is the way it always feels like he's seamlessly fitting objects of (seemingly) porcelain fragility into harsh, granite-hard environments, and allowing those two feelings to mix and swirl in viewers. He's like Dark Kaluta (whatever that means). This piece is absolutely spectacular, Steve; from the folds of Cloak's cloth to the feathers on the crow, to the statue's weathered stone, to Dagger's hair on the breeze, this is tenderness in a gorgeously-rendered, stone-hard world. Absolutely epic - enormous congrats!
