Wonderful example of Rogers' design and colour skills - love the pure colour in this, like a vibrant, iconic silkscreen print.
Looking at the color and how it matches purfectly to the color on the printed cover, and thinking about the printing processes used for the Baxter books back in the 1980s, I think this is actually THE painted color for the cover used for the "blueline" method. I think all you are missing is the acetate sheet in black and white overlay. Does the paint look/feel like wtercolor?
