Description

Aayla was created by John Ostrander & Jan Duursema for the Dark Horse series Star Wars: Republic, where we saw her eventful journey from appentice to Jedi Knight under the tutelage of the troubled Quinlan Voss. Aaayla was such a visually interesting character that George Lucas ended up including her in both "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith." At a recent NYC comicon, I asked artist & toy sculpter Ian Dorian if he could do a sketch of Aayla. Dorian seemed to enjoy the idea, and he produced this lovely pencil drawing.
