Art Adams - X-Men Annual #10- Cypher, Douglock, X-Men

Another colour guide page from Art Adams, this time from X-Men Annual #10, the story which introduced Longshot to the X-Team.

Here, Doug reflects on how much he enjoys the side effects of merging with best pal Warlock to form the dual entity known as "Douglock". You can tell this is from the 1980's because someone uses the term "Wowie-Zowie" without it being an ironic statement (There's not even an exclamation mark)

These colour guides are fascinating, since they show the colours better than the printing process at the time could manage. This is most notable in cases like Art Adams, whose delicate work could easily be wiped out by poor printing.
