Marlon Shakespeare: terminally bored juve by day, King of the Scrawlers by night. unAmerican Grafitti has to rank right up there with the very best Dredd stories and Chopper is one of the most memorable of all Wagner characters. Ron Smith was very much at the top of his game in this period - Otto Sump, Pirates of the Black Atlantic, Pug Ugly, unAmerican Graffiti, the Hotdog Run and many more - all within the space of a year. The more Ron Smith art I see, the more impressed I am.
