Atari Force mini-comic #4, page 15 (also appearing in DC Comics Presents and New Teen Titans) featuring Phoenix by Ross Andru and Dick Giordano

This is a nice page from the Atari Force "Phoenix" mini-comic.

One of my favorite things about original art is seeing parts that were changed/removed/altered, etc.

When this piece was originally drawn, it featured aliens that looked like frogs. For its use as mini-comic No. 4, a new, more menacing-looking alien was pasted over the frog heads. For some reason, the original look of the page was used in 1983 as an insert in both 'DC Comics Presents' and 'New Teen Titans'.

The new head was a bit loose on this art when I got it and eventually fell off. So, now I have a clear scan of both heads in place.
